Expertise:
Pig nutrition and production, Nutritional immunology, animal models for humans (pigs and rats), basic and applied lipid nutrition, vitamins and antioxidants, fatty acids, eicosanoids and inflammatory markers, organic food and quality.

• Project leader of 'Minimising infectious disease by using by using bioactive lipids' (Research project funded by the Danish Research Council)
• WP-leader of 'Nanotechnology in poultry production. Can silver nanoparticles promote health and growth of chickens?' (Research project funded by the Danish Strategic Research Council)
