Joint Education course of Mitofood and LYOCARD
"PUFAs and Carotenoids: Food and Bioactivation"

A two day course with highly ranking local, MITOFOOD, LYCOCARD and invited lecturers from the fields of carotenoids and PUFAs. This course offered in the morning a theoretical session including 30 minutes lectures of each invited lecturer and in the afternoon a practical session offered by the members of the Laboratory of Nutritional Bioactivation and Bioanalysis from the local University of Hungary by the LYCOCARD and MITOFOOD member Dr. Ralph Rühl.
The theoretical session included for the students and not for the lecturers the possibility to learn and use reporter animal studies, reporter cell systems, reporter gene analysis and HPLC MS-MS detection. Learning not only the usage but also data analysis and troubleshooting.
